Thank gosh it's not just me. My ten month old DD has to deal with a two year old brother, but even so, if he takes a toy off her or tells her off, she screams and swipes at his face. She will also throw herself down on the floor with her head on the ground sobbing, just because I gave her brother something that she couldn't have.
They're much smarter than we give them credit for at this age  Little buggers.

Yes normal. My girls did that from around 11 or 12 months. DD2 was worse as she would even bite her older sister at 12 months. She did have a big tantrum period from 2.5 to 3 too. Just calming down now.

Yep normal, DS just turned one and for a few months has been throwing himself on the ground near my feet and wailing, whilst grabbing onto my legs. I am lazy as I just pick him up, cuddle and stick a boob in his mouth and he is fine in 20secs, like it never happened.

LOL my 10 month old DS throws himself on the ground, back arched, screams kicks. I probably shouldn't but I can't help laughing as I think he looks cute
 . I too am not looking forward to toddlerhood

My 11mo DD stands and shouts at me if I take something off her - she has a very firey tempter to go with her red hair lol
Until they can express themselves with words, actions have to do the talking for them. It is completely normal ... |
