Hi girls
Sorry have been MIA for quite a while - always try to read along when I can but mostly on phone so not so easy to post.

Just had to drop in to say CONGRATULATIONS chocmudcake, athnessa & jens1607 on the safe arrival of your little ones. I was so excited to read about the birth of your 3 bubs. It is so exciting - I am so happy for you. It must just be so amazing to hold them in your arms after such an emotional journey. Enjoy every minute and every lovely cuddle. Wow it brings tears to my eyes - so glad that they have all arrived safely.

AFM - I will be 37 weeks on Wednesday, started maternity leave a week ago and so I guess the countdown is starting. I still can't quite believe that we will have a baby in a few weeks. Think I will probably be in shock when she does finally arrive - feels like I have waited so long for this little one - hard to believe it is real (don't think i will believe it until she is in my arms). Anxiety still creeps in a bit - just knowing if she was born now she would be totally fine, that she's a real little person now if that makes sense - just want her to arrive safely. Good luck to everyone else counting down!!

Hi flowerbell! I'm 38 weeks today so know exactly how you feel. How amazing and exciting is it that we will meet our little ones so so soon! Good luck and here's hoping everything goes smoothly for us both.

White-lily how'd your scan go? So good that DH got to feel your little one move - it makes such a difference I think and makes it more real for the. The antenatal classes make it real for them too - that's when it really hit my DH.

AFM filling in my time quite nicely on maternity leave. I've made my first baby quilt, and now am making a small one for the pram - quite addictive!! Also filling up my days with haircuts, massages, pedicures, aqua aerobics and all sorts of fun stuff - gotta do it while I can!! I will be happy though, to be able to sleep in bed without being sore, and without taking 5 minutes to change position!!

Ta Da!
Just quickly from me...

Scan on Friday went brilliantly!! We have a perfect healthy baby on board. Still measuring ahead but its got all the right bits in the right spots. Bub was a bit uncooperative, just like its big sister always was but we got there in the end with A LOT of poking and prodding (ouch!).
Gender is still a surprise! I really thought one of us would cave and find out but we remained strong! The sonographer didn't give anything away (if he even noticed?) and kept well clear of any potty shots so we don't even have an inkling!

DH and I have worked out my maternity leave so I really should tell work... I promise to tell work before the end of the week... unsure.gif

dizzyanne sounds like you are loving your maternity leave original.gif I'm going to have to make a big list of things to do when I start mine.

Hi girls original.gif

Sorry ifor it being so long since I posted - I am a bit of a lousy first PAM graduate to return, but it is exhausting having a 13 month old and being so very pg.

17 days to go and I have had it.

I'm booked in for my c/s on April 19 and am counting the days. The pg is going well, but it is so very different from my pg with the boy. The boy was breech and I know realise was very still. This baby moves so very very much that I swear my skin is gonna split and this bub is gonna show.

Baby is head down and I am so bloody uncomfortable. I was sent to hospital for a checkup a week or so ago as I was in so much pain. It is either ligament pain or pain in my previous c/s scar from scar tissue.

We have had some drama though. My much loved OB quit his practice and his Head of OB position at our local hospital - he gave no notice and literally left town overnight. So after being with the same OB for almost 3 years, I was put in the care of a new OB 4 weeks out from my c/s. A bit stressful, but not much I can do.

I am rarely spending any time on the EB as it is so uncomfortable to sit and so there are so few posts from me, but I promise to keep you all posted on any news.

Hi ladies! I get the feeling its about to get very busy in here, with the number of women we have about to pop biggrin.gif I'm 37 weeks now - in the zone where all of a sudden the baby could come at any minute (due on April 19 - so its definitely happening this month! Eep!) Playing the waiting game biggrin.gif DS came a week early, so hopefully we're looking at something similar this time. I'm not as uncomfortable as I was with DS - I think I am not as big, and its also not the middle of a stinking hot summer. I'm sleeping pretty well - possibly because I'm not getting woken up at night by kicking (I have the opposite to you MrsCee - DS was a very busy baby inutero, while this one is very quiet! It has definitely added to my paranoia in this pg!) I have some carpal tunnel and swollen feet though, which is something I didn't have with DS.

White-Lily - its so great to hear about your healthy baby! Hooray!

dizzyanne - It sounds like you have a lovely and productive maternity leave! Unfortunately I find myself being less productive - running after DS is taking all my energy. I am managing to get the very important things done though - like haircuts and waxing and a night out with my husband biggrin.gif

flowerbell - so close now! It is hard not to be anxious, isn't it? With my quiet baby I often wake up in the middle of the night and realise its been hours since I've felt my baby move, so I'll go have a glass of cold water...then go back to bed and fall asleep before I've felt the baby move. So I have to do it all again when I wake up a few hours later!

jens - Congrats on the birth of your beautiful baby girl wub.gif I hope you are enjoying all those lovely newborn moments.

Looking forward to some more announcements soon!!

Congrats Jens - Love her name original.gif

Congrats White Lily on great scan results!!

Hello to everyone else, especially the rest of the April mums - PS the 15th is a really good day lol! (my b'day!)

AFM - Have routine appt today but DH is coming as well - first time he's been to dr with me since 10 weeks. So he's going to get a shock to see how big bub is on the u/s! He's also lining up for whooping cough needle today. Big brave man....lol. We also have a 'compact' antenatal class tonight, a 3 hr session, one night.
Bub is very very active - the jerks and kicks are more rolls and pushes now and my poor belly goes in some funny shapes. I'm getting DH to feel more and more kicks now, he's realised he has to be patient. I offically finish work thursday week, but I'm going to try get a certificate today to finish immediately. I've trained my replacement and she is going well, so no need for me to be there really. I've made myself available to her to go through some harder things down the track, but I no longer need to be there day to day. So today is possibly first day of mat leave!! Am 31+3 today, but the commute to work is taking its toll and I'm really really tired, cranky and uncomfortable come end of the week.
I'm steadily building a list of things to do before bub comes....i think its going to be a long list!

Hello to all - farmgirl.

Susie your 'important' things to do on maternity leave sound awesome!! Good on you! Sounds like you might go before me too!! But yep, we're having our babies this month - woo hoo!! I am the same as you - with swollen feet (and achey if I'm not careful) and recently a bit of carpal tunnel - ouch! Looking forward to all that disappearing when the little girl arrives.

Farmgirl
- I love lists of things to do! DH has 4 weeks paternity leave so we have a massive list of things to do around the house - will be brilliant to get it all done though! Hope you get your maternity leave when you want it and have a fantastic time off before little one comes. I am so glad I had 6 weeks off - it's really got me ready for this little bub, and given me time to look after and pamper myself before the big day.

Hi to all the other lovely ladies!
