After a few days of on/off cramps and a backache I woke up this morning and had a few drops of blood on the toilet paper when I wiped.
Went up to the hospital and had the CTG monitoring and saw the doctor she did an internal and said my cervix has moved forward and is starting to open so now I'm just wondering if anyone else has had anything similar and if so how long after did you have the baby? I know everyone is different but I'm just curious

Thanks

thanks original.gif

I started having contractions at 3am stopped at 6am so I got a bit of sleep but since waking up I've had diarrhea and vomiting so really hoping today or tomorrow is the day original.gif

Would be nice if my water could just break like in the movies at least then I'd actually believe it was happening

Sounds like its happening. Good luck and hope you have a baby very soon.
My waters broke like the movies but not much else happened so its probably better the way it's happening for you.

I'm not surprised! I didn't go into spontaneous labour (c-sect due to complications) but I remember being mad with impatience for the last few weeks. Hang in there and good luck for when he/she does arrive.
