The King is a huge ginger moggy for we got when he was 4 from the pound. He did the flop and the worm dance at first but got use to it. He's so huge that we had to skip the cat and x-small dog harnesses and go to the small-medium harness. We moved house and are an amusement to the new neighbours.

Ask me about my cats
Of our three, only Chomsky tolerates the harness and will walk with it. Bella is terrified that we're trying to strangle her and Bort just flops over and starts fighting with the harness. They don't wear collars as they're inside cats and I suspect that might be something to do with it. Although Chomsky is pretty stupid and will happily sit with a sock pulled over her head.

Ours wear collars and still don't really like the harnesses... though putting them in a harness it not as entertaining as putting collars with bells on them, for the first time LOL Ours are indoors too, but if they happened to get out, I'd want to be able to get them back, so they have collars with tags original.gif

Because I can.
Ninjah is doing well - I've put the harness on her heaps the last couple of days and she's currently prowling through the over-long grass pretending to be a tiger. Oh, and nibbling delicately on the grass as well, of course.

Soft kitty, warm kitty, little ball of fur.
I said to DH ... "The cats haven't been walked since Christmas! We should take them out on Saturday...."

So of course, it's been raining for 36 hours ddoh.gif

I had success with older cats by rubbing the harness with catnip. Let them play with it a couple of days. And then more catnip before putting it on combined with treats and play time with a favorite toy that only came out when the harness was on.
