Ivy Lorelle gets my vote.
Is your grandad's full name actually Edward? If it is then I would use that but still call him Ted. I just think Edward flows better than Ted with most middle names. If you are just using Ted then I would go with Ted Alexander. |

Ivy Madeline
I don't like Ted for a male but I love Edward Alexander instead. |

Hi I am pregnant and due in november yay!! So I need opinions on the following. Girls name after my nana and my middle name.. Ivy Madeline or my middle name which is Lorelle, so Ivy Lorelle or Madeline Lorelle.
Boys name after grandad - ted . My husband likes ted axel ! I like ted alexander or ted arlo, whats your thoughts. Than As much as I like the sound of Ivy Lorelle, I would avoid it as it sounds like 'ivy laurel', and makes me think of a wreath! I wouldn't pair Ivy with an adjective-sounding middle name, so I would have to say that Ivy Madeleine is a better choice (I am not a fan of Madeleine spelt Madeline). I like the sound of Ted Alexander. With such a short first name, I think you need something longer in the middle, however if you were going to give your son the formal name of Theodore or Edward, then Arlo would work in the middle spot. Although I like the name Axel a lot, I don't think it goes well with any of these first name options. |

Ivy Lorelle - it's special to share the same mn with your daughter
Ted Alexander or Theodore Alexander would be nice for a formal name or Theodore William or Edward Alexander or Edward William |

I would go with Ivy Lorelle but that's because I really dislike Madeline (or any Madi name)
Ted Axel is fantastic! Arlo is my all time favourite boys name, but Axel sounds better imo. Alexander is another name I really dislike A MIDDLE NAMES Aden/Aiden/Aidan/Ayden/Aydan or however you like to spell it LOL Amos Adam Amon Anton Archer/Archie Arno |
