Combo works best. I sed them from 4weeks to toilet training on both of my girls.

Check out the Facebook page - buy and sell MCN. Great place to find some bargains and try different brands.

Once my prems grew a little we used terry squares for day and MCN for night.

I only used disposables if we were travelling.

Thanks so much for all your suggestions ladies! Think we'll start out with disposables (just to minimize the stress of the shock/awe stage when they are first born), then try cloth nappies.

Disposables all the way. They are better for babies as they keep them drier, and much more convenient. As long as you can afford them, the time & effort saved helps your sanity.
