Hmmm, I didn't read it at as mean or nasty at all. I thought it was written with a sense of camaraderie nevertheless acknowledging their different stations in life. Quite surprised by many of the responses here!

Dearly me. The ability to spot and understand humour has been bred out of the average Australian, hasn't it? May be the Illuminati has put something in the ink of the Woman's Day?

Maybe, or maybe the article simply isn't funny or even amusing.

You said no strings could secure you, at the station...
I should clarify on my earlier post. I said that I wouldn't be nasty to someone just because they were born into the royal family. I wasn't referring to Pru's article there, in fact it didn't bother me at all, I thought it was pretty sympatheitic. A few of the PP's in this thread, however, have been real b**ches.
I wouldn't wish hyperemesis on ANYONE. The end. No qualifiers about "oh but she is flaunting her wealth, so boo sucks to be her" I wouldn't wish it on anyone, I don't care how rich they are.
See how easy it is?

Hi Prue, thank you for sharing your letter. I too suffered from HG and have in two pregnancies which were not multiple births though so feel for you having to endure HG whilst carrying two babies. I am pregnant again and have morning sickness but no hospital visits as yet thank goodness but seeing in the paper about Kate certainly brought back a flood of memories of almost convulsing when vomiting and the cringe factor of the injections...it's good exposure having a mention in the paper as I felt no one understands HG unless they too have been through it and its not something I would want any women to experience so hopefully someone may find a cure as I did not feel the I.V meds etc worked either, it's almost like an allergic reaction to ones baby...all the best to Kate And Wills I'm sure she is in good hands

I didn't enjoy this article. I found it to read extremely condescending, even insulting at times.
