Rachel I'd love to move further your way,I always think yeh buy further that way but change to staying here.I'm in old area near Racecourse but my territory is Lakeside, wonder if your sister is close by?
Sounds like you've got the system worked out, those prices correct themselves but it's annoying cos you can't see what proper figure you're up to.
I'm doing terrible have hardly delivered any of last lot & next orders due Mon so no time.1st had the week away.
Now DP & I have been sick, him to the point he's gone into hospital & tonight is his 2nd night,he's really bad. When will this crap ever end??I just want to get this Avon business organised & back on track.I cant believe i had a carefree life for 35yrs & copped soo much crap in 2years.Every time something happens everyone is like what??!!Not another thing??!
I still really want to do the market thing & wondering the chances you'd get caught & the consequences??!!Sooo many girls do it on ebay!!I'd rather market with other things.
Hope everyones going good original.gif

Hi

Thanks for your help with my first order ladies. It arrived yesterday and I have made my deliveries accept for one. It was nice to meet the two customers who left orders for me. I'm hoping thy become regulars. I'm going to do my first brochure drop for campaign 9 tomorrow.

Daisy how is your DP?

My sister used to live near the racecourse but moved to a new estate a couple of years ago. (not lakeside).

I got the email and have been thinking about it. I'm a bit concerned that I'm spending more on Avon than I'm making. The stuff I've bought so far has been stuff I've needed but I don't want it to end up costing me heaps. If I could sell some of the stuff in the pack it might make me feel a bit better about it.

Hey Rachel with the net offer the beauty one has the Fergie perfume which is my favorite,& the supershock Max mascara that I love, mine are both running out so that's 2 products i did want. With the rest it was all popular stuff so I thought surely I can sell it??As well as the normal brochure drop off & deliver which I've been struggling with I thought maybe I can have casual type Avon parties where a few girls (either friends or customers) can get together & buy cheap products,I've bought some cheap things from that clearance brochure & sale things in the normal brochure, but I'm on 35% so more justifiable.
I've also got the market idea still in mind!!I'm just soo tired,DP came home from hospital yesterday but having home treatment twice a day.I've still got people's orders from before I went away, one customer txt last week "Haven't heard from you!" I said how we'd been away & now had the flu,she didn't respond & I still haven't got back to her cry1.gif I feel like such a failure,I mean how hard is it??She lives a 3minute drive away!I'm just so unmotivated,it's freezing & I've got my period (TMI!).
I'm one of those people that has to get all dreesed up & in the zone to do stuff,I should just view it as my job but when I've got Dp & DS home I just can't be bothered. Most people would just txt her & go looking not that great & not worry,I don't know what my issue is.I think that's why I'm thinking I'll buy a heap of stuff & find a way to sell it!!
Keep your updates coming tho Rachel,it does help reading about your enthusiasm like i had at the start,I wish I could get my sh*t together!!!I could sleep for a week!!

Hi
Daisy - After reading your post I decided to jump in and order the beauty pack. If I can't sell some of it, then I just won't buy anymore of their special deals unless its really something I need/want.

Sorry to hear you are so tired. Its hard to be motivated for anything when you are exhausted. It must be tough having your DP unwell and you feeling like crap to. A walk to do your deliveries might actually help. Some fresh air and some time away from DP might re energise you a little. Maybe get your clothes out tonight (if you read this) and get up at reasonable time, dress and be out the door early. If you get it done in the morning then you have the rest of the day to rest and look after DP. Don't be too hard on yourself. it seems you've had a lot going on lately.

Are you going to the Casey Kids Day out? My sister asked me to go and we probably will.

AFM
I just dropped off about 20 brochures. I went about 7pm. It was a good time to go I think. There wasn't many people around. I'm still a bit nervous about running into people and speaking confidently about Avon so I sneak up to the front door (if there isn't a gate), drop the brochure and get out of their quick. I had two customers last campaign that weren't friends/family and I'm hoping to get at least another two this campaign. Hopefully it will start to build up with a bit of word of mouth around our little town.

I'm not picking up these brochures until Tuesday. I'm hoping that as we live in a holiday area I might catch some of the people who are only down here on weekends.

Hope everyone else is well.

Rachel

Hey Rachel, thanks for the advise but I didn't read it til now!!I arranged to meet a friend at Cardinia YMCA for the pump class so that got me going cos I knew DP & her expected me to cancel, especially with this rain!!(not sure if you got it?)So I was determined to prove them wrong!
I just delivered to the girl that had text,& I've arranged a few for next week so getting there.
That beauty pack is by far the best deal they've had the whole time I've been with Avon,it averages we pay $5 per item,I think??Maybe a bit less!Mine arrived today,it's great value,a lot of it would be great gifts if you dont sell some, once you get to know people you can suss what theyre into & offer it at half the normal price,it'll still be a good price for you & them.It doesn't matter if you have to hold onto some of it for a while,I have quite a bit put aside from packs & stuff & often people order & I think yep got that in stock!
That's a great idea about leaving the brochures over the wkends to have a better chance of people coming to their holiday house, good luck, hope you get another 2 customers,it is really exciting getting new customers. If all this crap didn't happened in my life I'd still be right into it I love it & the products!
I don't know about this kids day out, what date is it?? original.gif

Hi ladies

I've been a bit quiet lately. Avon is just ploding along. Gives me something to do. I've now become the team leader that picks up all return from other TL and checks and repackages them for return to Avon. Will give it a few campaigns and see how it goes. It's quiet time consuming checking off everyone forms but a great way to see lots more products.

Hope you are well. Daisy how have you been?

Hi

Glad to hear you are going well Hop. I hope being a team leader works out well for you.

Thanks for asking about my pick up daisy. I have 4 new customers and the 2 from the last campaign ordered again. One ordered $120 worth. So I'm pretty happy with how this campaign went.

I will be submitting my order tonight. I live seeing the Avon box on my door. It's a bit like Christmas. Even though I won't be buying much for myself this order.

How are you going Daisy? Are you keeping up with the Avon stuff? How is your DP now?
