I loved this name from the day we found out we were pregnant...
However i was worried about how it sounded with our surname.
Maybe im being too over paranoid and should just use it as none of the other names are grabbing me.
And i love the thought of having a Jesse & Beau!--cute as!

Beau Cameron Sayle..? Beau Sayle. ..?. (Surname pronounced the same as sale)

WDYT ladies?

Like the name but a little awkward with your surname. What about another name that starts with a b? Ben?Benjamin. Bradley.

Lilmummmi, Beau is quite ok with your surname and not strange like some of the others like Lucas and Tai sounded. I do like Jesse & Beau together and as YOU will use this combo the most I say go for it. As you said you have loved this name from the start, that's always a good sign with baby names IMO.

a little awkward with your surname.

I think the awkwardness comes from the fact both names are only one syllable - a two- or three-syllable first name would sound better (but they usually get shortened anyway so you might be fighting an uphill battle there!).

A Beau and a Jesse is nice, as long as it isn't a Beau-Jesse!

Bow Sale. Get in quick! original.gif
But who cares, really - it doesn't sound ridiculous and you have loved it for so long. It wouldn't stop me.

I've never seen or heard of anyone having a 'bow sale'. Tie (Tai) sale yes, Kite (Kai) sale yes, but really how often have you heard of a "bow sale". I really feel for the OP as Sayle is such a hard surname to match with and I really think this is one of the best options she has posted. OP just go with your heart!!

Crankybee I wasn't having a go at you, I just wanted to point out to others that may come in with the 'Bow sale' thing how rare a 'bow sale' would really be IYKWIM

The name is nms and definitely not with your surname. I do like Cameron though and it sounds great with Jesse.

Bananapancakes..Cameron was my dads name..he is no longer with us and died in very traumatic circumstances so to use Cameron as a first name would be too painful for the family.

Ah, I wouldn't mind if you were! biggrin.gif I thought of it because I take the school archery team and the word BOW is bandied about quite a lot.

I had another thought. Can't Alexei be a contender? If my last name was Sayle I couldn't help but consider it, just so I could sing A-L-E-X-E-I-S-A-Y-L-E!

ETA - just to be clear, I think you should go with your much loved 'Beau' as the name.
