Hi guys,
DP is much better & back at work.
I'm still doing Avon but could be doing MUCH better!!I'm plodding along tho & the big spenders have kept me up there!!Plus I get most presents for everyone from Avon so that boosts my sales,& got the "Mum" & "Nanna" mugs for me off DS,my mum & DPs mum,&the pink polka dot nightie for my Mother's Day present. So any opportunities like that I take to keep my range in 35%.
You're doing great Hop at Team Leader,I can't even be bothered doing my returns sad.gif
I started a running program on our treadmill this morning,I'm hoping it will help with energy levels & anxiety. Also my mind in fuzzy a lot of the time & they say exercise clears your mind!
Rachel it sounds like your business is taking off very quickly like mine did, that's great,it is exciting!! original.gif

Hi

Glad to hear your DP is better, Daisy. How is the running program going?

I had a $120 order from a drop off the other day which was great.

Quick question - when you deliver your orders do you leave the next brochure with the order? If so, do you tell them you'll be back to collect it on a certain day or do you ask them to ring you I they want something.

Thanks

Rachel

Yes I take the next brochure & tick a day on the order form saying when I'll be back.I try to make it about 5-6days & over a wkend so friends or family might be there, this sometimes works.a few I just leave the brochure, they've specifically asked it's a friends a few suburbs away original.gif
I've done my 2nd session of running,it's 3 times a week,I shouldve done one today but we were out & about,I'll get in a routine of Mon,Wed & Fri when DP is back at work after Easter. We went to a bike shop today & he put a bike on layby for me for Mothers Day,I'm very excited,I love it & want to get into going for rides together (he has a bike) when DS is at my exDH.
On Thur I actually got the brochure around to most of my regular customers & pick up Tues which is when order is due so I'm hoping a few orders for Mothers Day & I'll get into the 35% original.gif

Hi ladies

Good to hear your DM got in contact with you. Did you get those returns back to her in time Choc Addict?

Daisy - I did get the special website order. I guess I am keeping it all for myself as I haven't sold any! I have been using the glimmerstick, the bag, the mascara and the eyeshadow/lip gloss. The rest I have put aside in case someone wants it.

I received an eternal magic perfume for my first campaign as it was over $150 and I have sold that which is good.

Thanks for the answering my question. I didn't want to seem too pushy if I keep leaving brochures but I guess they always have the option to say no.

I am hanging out for my order to arrive. I ordered last Tuesday and with Easter it still hasn't arrived. Hopefully today. My parents are taking my kids for a couple of nights so I will have plenty of time to get my orders out. I felt like Christmas when my first ordered arrived!

Hope everyone is well.

Nope, didn't get the returns to her. But that is ok cos I stuffed up my order and have more stuff to return! lol

In the C9 campaign I miss read the instructions on the Mother day offer with the five products for $30. I read it as needing to put in the individual codes not just the code of the foundation. So ended up with an extra lip stick, eye liner and mascara - oops! lol

I will contact her next week. My manager and the DM wanted to catch up with me anyway to discuss some ideas - I am thinking they might try and get me to do an area.

Rachel the way I look at it is whatever price you sold the Eternal Magic perfume for subtract that off the $75 you paid for the other pack, cos you didn't pay for the perfume anyway (I got that too on my 1st campaign but kept it!) I'd forgotten how much good stuff was in it,after I read your post I went & looked,I'd forgotten it had the glimmersticks, that cuticle cream & a lot of the rest.Couldn't believe it had that expensive serum!!
I want to start getting people to have "Avon Parties" although I'm getting no interest, lol, but with things like that serum you can use it as an incentive like "Host receives gift worth $70" or whatever it's worth.I'm doing that with those Genics creams I got sent that I didn't want!!I was going to return them but realised if I did, that particular campaign would've gone under 35% so may as well keep them,I'm better off, even if I sold them for $20 each!!
I'm wondering if I had an Avon party at my place whether many people would come,I'd rather give someone a face cream & have it elsewhere but then I know friends have had tupperware etc parties where only a few people turn up so might not sell much??Avon is so much cheaper than tupperware & needs replacing, well makeup, body & skincare does,I'm always wondering how tupperware girls keep the business going for long once they run out of friends to have parties & everyone has all the bits & pieces they want.I got a catalog from a neighbour, there was only one thing I thought would be good for DP to take his lunch to work in but it was $60!!He said no way!!Do any of you have any experience of this??Seeing how it seems popular I always wonder why Avon isn't heaps more popular seeing it's such value for money,I get no interest on facebook & got lots of girls on my friend list.Is it seen as an old thing??I do the E-brochure so the cover comes up with Reese etc so I don't see how it can be viewed as old.& it's much cheaper than Revlon,Maybelline,Max Factor etc.Ok rant over!!
Choc Addict with that ordering the extra thing I make that mistake a lot & often there's no way of knowing, grrr!!!Wonder if they'll try get you to have an area??When is this meeting?!

No idea when they want to meet. My manager was going overseas, I think she got back this week. She emailed me before she left saying they wanted to catch up when she got back.

The DM rang me last week but no mention of physically catching up.
