My nearly 3 year old picked up her dolly baby this morning, lifted her shirt & said, "Look Mum! I'm breast feeding MY baby!" hahahaha This is a first time at our house ... Anyone else had anything simular happen to them re: old kids & breastfed younger siblings?

Yep, happened in our house to. It is hilarious when they do it in front of relatives or visitors and they don't know what to say.

DS2 used to feed his toys, but hold them up to his belly button.

Mum says she once saw me sitting cross-legged on the floor feeding my doll and reading a book (as she would feed my brother or sister), but every time I tried to turn the page, the doll's hand got caught in the pages. Eventually I grabbed the doll by the offending hand and threw it across the room so I could read my book in peace.

All our kids 'breast fed', even our son. All lovely and normal and very cute.

My kids would either breastfeed their stuffed toys or stuff them down my top for a breastfeed.

The cutest one was a kid in a park who came up to me when breastfeeding and was very curious. Wanted to know if I had bottles in my boobs

I wish it had been something as 'normal' as a doll! Mine have, through the years, fed a variety of stuffed animals, an assortment of trucks and one memorable incident involved a loudly protesting toddler being force-fed by a preschooler!!!

Yes, ds1 would sit up with me and feed his baby while i fed ds2, and them wrap her up and put her to bed at the same time

i've seen lots of children of different ages do this. Very cute and perfectly normal.

My DS2 has a baby that he is still (aged nearly 7, don't tell anyone lol) quite attached to. He still sometimes puts her to bed and feeds her and changes her etc etc and when he was small he breastfed her.
