Hi Everyone,

Mrs S - Thank you for coming in and letting us know about your girls. Congratulations!

Emmy - Glad to hear your update that all is well.

Hope - When is the next scan?

Little Lion - How was your baby shower?

PCM - Congratulations on hitting the third trimester! Does that make it feel a lot closer? Lots of things remind me of where I was at this time last year. It can still make me very emotional to think about it. But its a big contrast to now. I know how lucky I am to have got through that to something positive again.

Havent heard from Bluecup or Jaynen for a while - I hope you are both going ok.
Bluecup - Have you felt movements yet?
Jaynen - It must be close to your scan. I hope all goes/went well. Please update us if you feel up to it.

AFM - Reached 24 weeks biggrin.gif . Nothing new to report. The weeks are crawling by, wishing it would go a little faster original.gif

Hi Gaia, i have my referal. Dr told me to book in first week of OCT so that would be next wednesday for me, but am getting a bit anxious and dont know if i should book in for this sat. Last time i was measuring a day short of 6 weeks and heartbeat was 85bmp. The lady doing the scan was having a hard time getting the beat as it was so small, but in the end got there. So of course i have spent time googling the heartbeat rate... some say anything over 80 is ok at six weeks and then some say it should be closer to 100. errr this is horrible... wish i could just relax.

HOPE6 - hang in there and I know it's easier to say than do, but don't over think things right now. Take each day as it comes and look forward to that first Obs appt.

Lots of love

Jaynen I understand your misery! I came down with a cold last night. I'm feeling pretty miserable actually, as my pelvic pain seems to have worsened. This morning I had an appointment with a physio specializing in women's health including pregnancy. She did some massage treatment and gave me orders to minimize physical activity for the rest of the week. I'm not meant to use stairs but our house is two floors so there's no avoiding it. But I try to plan what I'm doing to avoid using the stairs more than necessary.

Hope my morning sickness lasted 24/7 until about 15 weeks. If you vomit too much and can't keep up with the amount of fluids you should be drinking, ask your doctor if medicine might help you.

Hello to everyone else. Hope you're all going well.

Happy Friday ladies!
Hope everyone has a a good second half to the week!
Hope6- good luck with your next scan! I have good sticky vibes for us this time!
I don't think I'll be able to relax at all during this pregnancy... Most times I love working as a nurse but sometimes I hate it because I'm exposed to too much heartache... It's the same with the fact that my dad is an OB... If I turn to him for reassurance he switches to dr mode and not supportive dad... I had my first appointment with my OB yesterday who says everything is going well... But then Put me on progesterone pessaries and said he wants to see me again in 2 weeks rather than 4... But I did get to hear little bubbles heartbeat again which was racing along beautifully wub.gif
How did you girls survive the first trimester? Did anyone else have to take pessaries??

hey emmy, glad to hear everything is going well. Hope no more spotting?? How come your OB put you on prog. pr? did he test your levels or is it a cant hurt thing?

I know what you mean i havent even got excited really about being pg, just keep trying to take it one day at a time. little goals if you know what i mean. Just trying to get to my next scan booked in for wed. Touch wood no spotting or anything so far, dont think i could handle that at the moment.

Have you got any symptoms? My breast have calmed down, still really full but not so sore anymore. I feel better this week, only feel off of a night time. Just a queasy yuk feeling throughout the night. Have only vomited twice, once was bought on by taking a tablet and another just out of no where at night.

Also what are you taking for vitamins? I was taking this multi vitamin but it is to large for me to swallow and i was wanting to throw up so i am now just taking my folic acid tablet as its really small.

Hi jaynen - sorry you have the cold. Good luck for you scan next tue? Is this your 20 week scan? so do you have any feelings re boy or girl? How exciting.

Hi to all the girls, have a lovely long weekend! Im on 10 days off now yah, couldnt come at a better time!!! xx
