HHmm well looks like the gloves are off and there is some competition

Look what Target has in stores now.....
Bellini

Looks the same as the Thermomix yet MUCH MUCH cheaper.

I would never buy an actual Thermomix, so this may be the next best thing.

The recipe book is hysterically funny - it just cuts and pastes from Thermomix recipes and doesn't even bother to remove references to "Thermomix" or "TM" etc! Some of the recipes are so badly written/translated, I would think that based on that alone not a lot of care has gone into the machine.

But it is significantly cheaper, so I'm sure that will attract a lot of people who can't afford the Thermomix or who don't want to outlay that kind of money on an appliance. Even if it breaks down, you can just get another one!

I just think it's a shame that they have to rip off the original so closely - they couldn't think of some better or different design elements? It's not rocket science!
