Tentatively joining you ladies, if that's ok. Very early days for me, and after 2 m/c already, I'm kinda waiting for the bad stuff to happen while also trying to think positively. I'm 39, turning 40 in a couple of weeks (yikes!). Doing this crazy IVF ride solo, using donor sperm. Have had 9 stim cycles to get to this point, with prev losses at 5w6d and 8w4d. Got my BFP on Monday with a nice strong line on a pee stick, then had BT on Wednesday (16dpo) with hcg of 596, then follow up BT on Friday (18dpo) with hcg of 1850. Those levels are way higher than I've had with prev pgs. Only had the one embryo transferred. Looking forward to getting to know you all! (tho already know mum2oneds from the Low Ovarian Reserve BG, hi there!) Spottydog, I'm so sorry you're having such a worrying time of things. The big positive is that your hcg levels are doubling nicely. I hope the prog support kicks in soon and that darn spotting stops for good. I am on crinone in the am and a pessary in the pm. No idea what my prog levels are because my clinic doesn't measure it. Please continue to post whatever helps! If we can't let the crazy out here, where can we? Even though I'm not even 5w yet, I've already booked in with my OB. She books up quickly, so didn't want to miss out. It was a bit embarrassing to be ringing up and booking in for the 3rd time. Yep, me again! Never did get to the first appt. And I've booked in for my 12w scan as well, as they also book up really fast and it's right on Easter. Won't be going to see the FS now for viability scan till 7w, which feels like ages away and time is going slooooowwwwly. Symptoms so far are fatigue, bloating, reflux/heartburn and dizziness. Very occasional queasiness but nothing much.

Welcome indigo and congrats. Fx for a sticky, healthy pregnancy!
Spotty - you can post as much rubbish as you want!! Its funny but the journey is only beginning and makes the 2ww seem a breeze! I hope there's been no more spotting.
My scan is before 8 weeks - 7 weeks 3 days like yours.
Been feeling pretty blah all weekend which isn't fair now we've finally got some sunshine!

Indigo Welcome, and congratulations! Hope that everything goes smoothly for you, and looking forward to chatting. Spotty Sorry that you are still having a rough time, but great news about your hcg doubling, and hopefully the progesterone support does its thing. Post whatever you like too, getting it out can only help Frogga Getting close to your scan now. Hope you are feeling better today. I'm in Melbourne, and this is my first pregnancy too. Hi Mum2oneDS, hope all is well with you AFM Scan was today, and I am reallly happy to report that we saw one little bean, measuring just over 1cm with a heartbeat at 146 bpm. I was so worried the last few days (hence why I have not been around) and litlerally burst into tears when the sonographer said there is the baby and it's little heartbeat. The overwhelming feeling I am experiencing now is relief. I have an appointment with my FS on Wednesday, and I am assuming he will give me a referal. I am going to pop off to make some baked treats for him and my nurse

Hi girls, So who is next for a u/s? indigo, looks like you have had one hell of a journey to get here, i hope that this is it for you Frogga, lorem, mum2oneds, how are you all going? Im all good here, patiently waiting to see if these pessaries are doing the right thing. I decided to hold back on the BT, i found last week was so stressful, so i didnt want to have to do it again and again this week, waiting until the end of the week to see if my pessaries have pushed my prog levels up. FIngers crossed. I have a bit of m/s, nothing major, just a bit of nausea at some point of the day, but goes when i eat, so could be hunger. And by 3pm i am shattered and just want to sleep. Anyone else got early signs? spotty.

Hey girls - hope you're all traveling well Spotty - am so glad the sporting has stopped and have everything crossed that your progesterone is on the rise an stable. Indigo, mum2one - hope you both are staying well and not too sick or tired! Lorem - has it sunk in yet? It's real! AFM - I think I may be the next u/s? I'm on Tuesday at 10am. A week to go - grrrrr! Well I don't have m/s, I have all day sickness. I'm not throwing up but I have constant nausea and it never feels far away. Still getting heartburn regularly which is awful. Woke me up at 2am the other morning. Not that that is a big thing considering I'm up peeing every two hours anyway! I even had to go and lie down in the sick room at work today for 20mins after lunch. Very hard to keep it together in front of everyone!!!

Hi spottydog, my scan is with my FS on Monday 5th march, which is 7w for me. They wanted me to come in earlier but I said no way, it would completely stress me out if I went in too early and didn't see a heartbeat. I kinda wish I was going to a proper ultrasound clinic as my FS can't measure the heart beat with her old machine, and my last pregnancy was a worry for weeks due to slow heart rate (just by looking you could tell it was too slow). I may have to measure it old school (count for 15sec and x 4!) Frogga, you poor thing. That nausea sounds bad. Though I kinda do want ms just for the reassurance. If it happens, and I whine later, you all have permission to throw that comment back at me My symptoms have eased over the past couple of days which is making me worry. I do feel tired alot of the time, and getting out of bed every morning is very hard. It feels like there's a concrete slab on top of me. And I still have cramps on and off most days, feeling like AF is imminent. Reflux has been pretty bad up until a day or so ago, but seems to have eased. Teeny bit of queasiness on and off, usually in the late arvo/pre-dinner.. Still bloated, too! I guess I'm only 5w1d today, so early days yet. Mum2oneds, how are you going? Did you have your follow up BT today? I hope all went well.
