any ideas? I'm sure I've seen one in a catalogue recently, but we're going to the coast next week and think we need one.

It would need to be a duel screen one or it will be a disaster. If anyone knows of anywhere, please let me know. I'm trying to avoid the insanity of shopping over Easter with both kids.

d*ck Smith. We just came to the coast today and I realised yesterday the old dual screen DVD was cactus. Checked online for catalogues and d*ck was the only one with any specials. It's a d*ck brand dual screen 9 inches, inbuilt battery (great for toilet stops), comes with 2 sets of headphones as well and half price $124 - Bargain!!! Ends 9th April so go get one tomorrow!

I bought a dual screen one last year from d*ck smith was $120 i think, sound comes out of both screens and not the through the radio which would just be annoying. It was an absolute trip saver, from south coast nsw to north qld!

Thanks original.gif I just went to do a click and collect on it, but our store is out of stock and so are the ones within a hundred km or so. We're in the country, so I don't know if they'll be willing to get one in from another store for me.

Bugger. It would have been perfect.

See I'd never buy another Rank Arena from Target - 4 in 3 years. They're pretty much a throwaway item nowadays for $124 I expect 12 - 24 months.

The problem with these items is they're all pretty much noname or cheapname ones. You don't find Sony/Phillips etc and if you do it's still a 12 month warranty for something that costs 3 times as much.

CaptainOblivious try and get one from d*ck Smith online - we've always had fastand goo service from them.

We've been into d*ck Smith and they're going to try and get one in for me. Hopefully it will be here in time. If not, I guess we'll do a last minute trip to town and buy whichever one we can find.

Thanks ladies original.gif

Could you locate a store in a town that is on your travels and pick one up on the way?

Brilliant idea! I had a look and there is 'low stock' in one town, but it's 15 minutes from the end destination so sort of defeats the purpose. The rest of the towns are too small to have d*ck smiths. It's all little towns in the mountains for us.
