Yes I'm having a follow up on the 21st of August as that's the only time that's closest and available. I hate waiting! Best of luck to you x |

Best of luck to you lofty - hope everything is ok!
My story didn't turn out well, 6w3d HR in the low 100's, baby didn't make it. The low hr did concern me on the day but the sonographer said it was within the normal range. |

I'm currently 23 weeks and at 6 wks 2 days the heart rate was about 80bpm. I was told maybe it had only just started beating even though it was on the low side. I had another scan at 10 weeks and HR was 170bpm. 160 at 12 weeks and ever since about 145bpm.
I was terrified after I got that initial low heart rate (plus the dating scan showed me 8 days behind my own calculations and I'd been using ovulation predictor kits, doing my temps etc) but as I sit here, I can feel the baby kicking. Thing is, chances are if you had gotten the US 2 days later, the heart rate would have been a lot higher! |

I have had low HR and high HR, but please try to relax and stay positive and calm for baby
Unfortunately miscarriages happen and even with a very strong HR, you can still lose the baby. I lost my baby at 14w and she had a very strong HR. What I am trying to say is that there are a lot of variations in HR and size and shape and symptoms during pregnancies. Just try stay positive and hope for the best. It's all we can all do. It's why I still say that every healthy baby born is a miracle! |
