QUOTE (lils @ 14/12/2012, 12:06 PM) *
I have just bought a GHD on the recommendation by just about everyone!
I cant say im all that impressed really, my old hair straightener that just died did a better job and it was a lot cheaper!
I was also tossing up between the Cloud Nine and the GHD, i now wish i had gone the Cloud Nine. So bummed with myself. The GHD just doesnt seem to get hot enough for my hair

GHDs used to get hotter but for some reason they made the newer models only go up to (I think 180 or 200 degrees?)
When I replaced my old GHD with a new one I was really disappointed that it didn't do near as good a job as my original one.

Does anyone know what temp cloud 9 goes up to?

So can anyone recommend a stockist for cloud nine in Melbourne or online that can express this week?
I had a look at a few places today but they didn't stock it.

After my son dropped my old GHD in the bath (unplugged of course but grrr!), I bought a new GHD - the quality is so poor and I really wish I'd bought a Cloud 9 - the new GHDs aren't a patch on the old ones.
