We today ordered a new lounge suite yay!!!
It is a chocolate coloured leather.
Our walls are taupe and our trim, blinds etc are white.
What coloured cushions would you put with it?
We have eggplant cushions at the moment but our lounge is currently a mid coffee colour.

Do you want bright colours or neutral colours?

For what you have described, (and I can only use my imagination, so what I see may not be what you have) I would choose either orange, teal, or a kingfisher blue colour. I like colours though, so I know those choices may not be for everyone.

I'm not a bad mum, I'm a good mum with low expectations
What other colours feature in your decorating? Do you have or blue items in the lounge(vase, etc). I'd be aiming to go for a colour that will accentuate your other items.

Mutlitasking is not doing any of them properly
I have a very dark brown leather lounge and our cushions are a mix of lighter browns, cream and red. We have red in our floor rug as well. I love the idea of greens or blues though.

So many options to choose from depending on your taste and existing furniture. I've seen the following combinations:

- burnt orange/ red/ terracotta mixed with cream
- red/ pink
- pale/ tiffany blue
- pale/ tiffany blue with taupe and cream
- cream & black

Happy shopping!

We've just bought a chocolate sofa too for our lounge room, which also has taupe walls and white trims. As the room will be used more by the kids, I want colour so I'm going with bright chevron pattern cushions in pink, orange, yellow, blue and green for both the sofa and for the floors.

Autumn colours like orange, red and green work well.

Personally I love a bit more colour with bright green, peacock blue, and purple.

My MIL has the same as you and she had big red and cream cushions. Looks great.

I too though, would prefer bright colours such as bright blue, teal, aqua etc

I would pop on some bright, solid blues/ teals/ greens and then "stack" them under some beautifully intricate black and white cushions.

Stacking cushions are my passion cool.gif
