Yip and Zingiber I am in a similair situation, I am 9 weeks tomorrow and I have noticed an improvement the past couple of days, only feeling rubbish half the amount of time! Must be hormones balancing out! Although DP reminded me that I had a handful of good days at 7 weeks, is he trying to bring me down off my non puking high?

I have been sleeping 12-14hrs a night atm and then still barely making it through the day and the minute I open my eyes the nausea starts, I dont vomit, I just have that sitting in the pit of my stomach nausea which makes me not want to eat anything.

This started at the end of 5 weeks. I have to say I am being quite difficult to live with, dont tell Dh I said that though wink.gif

I think you absolutely need to pace yourself. No sense pushing yourself if you're exhausted. DH has been letting me have a sleep in every weekend, and I've been trying to actually sit or sleep during DS's quiet time.

What I've also been doing is trying to work out dinner early in the day, because I find I'm not interested in it later in the day. The odds are I still won't really want to eat it, but at least I can choke something down.

Fizzy drinks also seem to help nausea, not sure why. Eating frequently also seems to help, as does taking vitamins at night not in the morning.

I am less tired now, but the queasiness continues.

Won't be long now, and the placenta will take over and we'll all feel like new women. Just have to get there.

I feel like I'm permenantly hung over, only without the hazy memories of the boozy night beforehand. Fingers crossed it hits the road soon!

and life barrels on like a runaway train
Oh thank you for this thread. I was feeling very alone in my misery. This is my 4th pregnancy and has been by far the worst for morning sickness. And I don't think it is just because I have two little ones to run around after this time, though that doesn't help.

My husband's sympathy has totally dropped off this time round and he seems resentful that I am completely spent by the kids bedtime. As if I am enjoying being in "survival mode", where every scrap of energy is used up just surviving and then I turn myself off for twelve hours (though my little one is sick at the moment and waking through the night).

As for the house - pfft. It is dirty. Not just messy, but actually dirty.

I have no idea how far along I am - somewhere in the vicinity of eight weeks. And it is not because I didn't know my dates, I just don't have the energy to keep track. I do know it took until 14 weeks last time to get my mojo back and I know that is still a looong time away, wherever I am now.

with the goo goo - have you got a friend or sister you can confide in to give you a hand? I think that this early stage is difficult for some men because they can't see any evidence of the pregnancy yet so it isn't as real to them as it is to us. My DP wasn't as supportive as I needed him to be until Anzac Day last week when he found me sitting on the bed crying into a plastic bucket.....I think that was when reality hit for him and he's been much better since. I can't imagine what it must be like to have 2 young kids.....I'm home alone at the moment and the house looks like a bomb has hit it (again)....and there's only me to blame!

SERIOUSLY do not know how you people are doing it with small kids/full time jobs. I told DF the other day that we are only having ONE child because there is NO WAY I am doing this EVER again.

So over it. It's 4:30am. Seems the only way I can fall asleep any more is due to excessive exhaustion or else I'm just sitting up worrying about stupid things.

I want placenta.

Luna - I was awake at some ungodly hour again this morning too - should have gotten up and had a chat with you.

Today is the first day in over two weeks I've been able to stomach my fresh juice...which is a big relief because i'm sure that all the crap i've been eating has been contributing to how vile i've been feeling.

Now if i could just manage to sleep for more than 3-4 hours at a time i'd almost be human again!

I start my new job next week I just hope things keep improving in the next 6 days.

It would have been welcomed! Although I was reading an absolutely filthy fanfiction so maybe I would have ignored you forever. Sherlock+pregnancy dreams = weird stuff...

I have uni on Thursdays and Fridays and all week I think I'll get my sleeping pattern back and I don't! And then I have a lot of regret Thursday morning... I hope you're better than me at self control Zing D:
