Hadn't seen the catalogue but noticed this post last night. Had the girls dad go up this morning (as i had to do school drop off) - he got there at 8am (oops.. i thought that was when it opened! haha), store opened at 8.30am. But - he was first in line, said there were atleast 100 people by the time the doors opened. He got two Peppa Pig quilt covers and said there were only 8 there that he could see so they were gone in seconds! Apparently it was crazy!

My daughters are going to be soooo happy!

Thanks OP!

Went this morning and got there at 8.25am. LOTS of people waiting (is it always that crazy at Aldi before opening time?!). Got in and got what I was after - the hooded towel and the jewellery set - but noticed there were by far more of the other licensed things available than the Peppa stuff. People were going mad for the doona covers!!

Lucky to get out alive wink.gif

Thanks for that!
Both of us were working today and no way to get to Aldi early enough to buy one.

Just got an order done on Catch of the Day - extra $8 postage but well worth it. DD only started getting into Peppa the past 2 mths. Now is absolutely besotted with the show! I'm hoping this will be a a nice way to transition her to her big bed in Jan.

Oh, DD loves Peppa Pig. She's getting some Peppa Pig shirts for Christmas original.gif

Will have to check the local Aldi tomorrow but don't fancy my chances now. Will have to go online otherwise, a PP quilt cover would be cherished by DD.

My DD loves Peppa and I did get a towel.

But had a horrible experience at Aldi - people are just ferals! I went before work and got there at 8.15am, first one there. I stood by the door, and by the time 8.30am came around there were 30 people there. Two women standing RIGHT in front of the doors so when it opened they RAN rolleyes.gif Seriously!

There is no such thing as decency or morals when Aldi has a small sale apparently rolleyes.gif It was clear I was there first but I think these two women would've pushed me over if I'd gotten in the way.

A man next to me said - what are they running for? I said, no idea... thinking surely grown women dressed in office attire wouldn't be running through a store to get a $9.95 hooded towel ffs! But yes, that's what they did. When I tried to look at them too I was pushed away so couldn't look through them. I was shocked ohmy.gif Seriously ladies, for an extra $10 you could get them somewhere else.

I did manage to get to a pile, found a Peppa one and the women frantically searching thru snatched it out of my hand ran to the counter mad.gif Psycho! I would've loved to have said a lot to her, but continued my search and as all good things happen to those that deserve it wink.gif there was another at the bottom for my darling DD.

Aldi did only have about 20 towels tho, and by the looks of it 3 Peppa ones.

But still people, some decorum a week before Xmas would be nice cool.gif
