We had a great first Christmas with the twins. Thankfully they aren't crawling yet (won't be long though). Christmas Day was a bit hectic as we not only had to juggle the babies, but have just started toilet training DD2 (cold turkey to undies!) and DD1 has parvo virus and was a bit miserable. Still managed to get through the mornings festivities and put on lunch for our family and a few others. Even had a blissful 90mins where both DD2 and the DS babies were asleep. Also remembered to take lots of photos of the twins by themselves for their baby books. (Though I do confess to getting them a joint present - figure it is the only year I will get away with it!!)
Have to say that even though it was a bit chaotic at times (and is generally) that we are really enjoying the babies. Will be a hectic start to the New Year as we are moving house and then go on holiday the day after. Eek!!! How did others go with their Chrissy - would be nice to have tips for how to manage it in subsequent years!!! |

We had a great Chrissy (though obviously not our first with them), kids loved absolutely every one of their toys, it was great to see them so happy and having so much fun together. DS1 and DD were up at 5am (after going to bed at 10:30pm the night before as we went looking at Christmas lights), so they both crashed straight away last night as soon as their heads hit the pillow lol, DS2 had a big big nap though so took a little convincing to go to bed lol.
QUOTE (Though I do confess to getting them a joint present - figure it is the only year I will get away with it!!) I wouldn't worry about this, we get our kids a couple of presents every now and then that are for all 3 of them.

The first christmas is so special. My boys were only 7 weeks old their first christmas and I have lovely memories from a vague, sleep deprived state.
Enjoy your holidays |

I toilet trained my twins with a crawling baby. A word of advice, get a gate! My baby (still, now walking) thinks the toilet is amazing and tries to get in at any opportunity. It's hard to wipe bottoms while keeping a baby out of the toilet and from under your feet!
