Thanks EB and Lego duplo!

Don't you just love the look on your kids face when they get a big box of duplo to play with?

Our four year old boy had just been given his first few sets of Lego for his birthday, but due to our second son only being six months, we've decided to keep the "small" Lego packed away till its a bit safer, so to receive some more duplo is fabulous.

Watching my four year old play with the fire staton set is amazing. His imaginative play was interesting to observe, it started with opening the packets, and me helping him build the scene just like the image on the box, then he played with it like that for a while, then he played around with the configuration, enacted a situation, talking through the scenes he was creating. Then we played to build the tallest tower we could till it toppled over with fits of giggles.

When playtime was finished, it was time to pack the bricks away... (no one wants to tread on Lego/Duplo bricks) there was a little bit of bribery and we turned it into a fun game of how fast could we pack it away.

Till next time we pull out our expanding box of Duplo...

Thank you. The Lego duplo set was great and my toddler absolutely loved it. Building the blocks and smashing them back down. Is a great toy that keeps them busy and challenges them and is so much fun!

My children were excited to receive their LEGO Duplo sets - My First Zoo and My First Fire Station.

Miss 3 was able to manipulate her blocks and recreate the scene on the box with my help. She loved playing with the animal figurines and creating stories.

My 5 year old loved his fire station and once he had built it the first time, he statred to make new creations of his own incorporating other Duplo sets and toys.

I love LEGO Duplo because it's a quiet and activity which encorages creative play. The quality is fantastic and I know that the pieces will all fit together perfectly and last for years to come.
