i have a claim in for carers atm and it is on their site that there is delays processing.

I rang today to enquire if they might know when it would be processed.
He said 'yup looks all good- I can process that right now. The money will be in your bank Friday' It is now showing up on online as being paid on Friday |

Perhaps I will try giving them a call tomorrow - can understand delays due to fire and floods, but it would be nice to know where our application is up to.

Just ring, If you can get through to the progress of claims line, your claim will be done immediately if all the information is there.
Don't go into the office, they don't do processing and have nothing to do with it, nor do they know anything about it. They'll accept documents and scan them but they can't make things happen any faster by you going in there. If you can ring at 8am, you'll have less of a wait than ringing later. |
