Im 40 weeks and had a bit of blood this morning, not a lot, maybe about 20-30mls but not in a clump or anything. and no mucous.
I dont know how much is too much, when do you get worried with blood? it was almost like spotting but not the same colour. it wasnt really dark red, but not pink. just red. oh and I have the flu again. got it at 37+5 and was better for about 3 days around 38+5 so Im hoping to have her soon, so I am not too sick and still have the energy to push. |

I would be calling your hospital that you are booked in to and talking to them now...... they will be able to tell you if you should be coming in to get checked out. Fresh blood (ie red) at any stage of pregnancy should be queried.

yeah I had a mucous plug without blood and then had another with blood, then this morning, blood again. i thought it was normal, but i'll give my midwife a call and see what she says i should do.
