Hello Doulas,

I am 35 weeks pregnant with the first and will be delivering at RNSH - St Leonards.
I've read a lot about doulas, and the job you do and would love to have one presented for the birth of our son. I personally think it will be so helpful having an extra support person there.
Unfortunately my DP is being very closed minded and doesnt feel the need for a doula. So hopefully together we can change his mind!

I am 6 weeks pregnant EDD 8 October 2013- second baby.
Live in Essendon and awaiting confirmation that I will be delivering at RWH.

I'd love a student midwife or doula to support me and advocate for me. My first pregnancy and birth was quite straight forward although I did cop frequent comments about my size and baby's size and suggestions I should have a c-section. I laboured naturally and birthed a 10lbs 2oz boy with no tears or complications. I'd love for this pregnancy/birth to be as lovely.

Hi there

I'm 15wks along, due 12 August 2013, and booked into RPA (Camperdown, Sydney) through the Midwife Group Practice.

After a traumatic first birth (though a technically uncomplicated vaginal delivery) I'm convinced of the value of knowledgable support people!

I've chosen a qualified doula but I'd love to have a student doula or midwife also at the birth to support my doula, and also as my back-up person if my doula falls ill and can't attend the birth. My partner will be at home looking after our son so it's doulas I'm relying on!

Hi I'm Jess, I'm 20wks atm and looking for a student midwife.

My first pregnancy resulted in a non-elective c-section for obstructed labour and I am expecting to have an elective c-section this time around at Armadale Hospital, Perth.
