OOOH GOLD!!!

it is so hard to keep up in here..

mccarro: very glad you have found some answers...and sooo exciting about your BFP...love to you and your family and all the best.

not really anything to say actually because I am pretty sure I have said it all on fb!!

baby is kicking away to the point that I actually wonder whether he sleeps.

DH is on night shift all this week..will be great to have extra money to put away but gets a bit lonely and it means no work done on the babies room this week..I just want it finished!! Have two work dinners to go to and two training days..oh joy!! spent the day down at our shack yesterday which was great but soo tiring...

hope everyone is doing exceptionally well!!

Oh oh oh SILVER - that is a first for me!!!!

mccarro: Great news re: BFP good luck on your journey and thank you for coming back to visit wink.gif I was sick recently in hospital with a flu and virus in my blood - they told me my babies were ok but now I realise after what happened with you that maybe I shouldn't have been as relaxed about the twins as I was.....hmmm something to ponder....

AFM: Thanks so much for all your wishes. We had Mum's funeral on Friday and it was a wonderful day. I know Mum would have been proud of how the family stepped up and represented her. Given that I come from a family of 11 children we managed to get the eulogies down to four. Two short ones from two brothers - one talking about the last thing Mum saw while she was conscious was a video of his new daughter just 6 minutes old - that got a few people in the church crying. Another one from the eldest Grand daughter with a funny tale that was typical Grandma and finally my twin sister and another brother did the formal eulogy. The weather was great and about 300 people turned up - needless to say the wake at my parents house was packed! We got back from the burial at about 4.30pm, the next time I looked at my watch it was 9pm - I had to go home I was exhausted but I believe that the wake finished at about 1am. After it all I'm exhausted, I was doing most of the organising and almost forgot I was pregnant during it all - I also just realised now that I'm back at work today that my sciatic pain in my back seems to have really toned down. Oh and a funny story....I knew all along what dress I was going to wear to my Mum's funeral. I had it drycleaned etc. About 4pm the day beforehand I tried it on to show my sisters. OMG we burst out laughing.....it looked terrible - my belly had grown so much from when I had last worn it that the pleats made it look like I was wearing a tent! I was Oh no what am I going to wear -it is tomorrow...lcukily my sister from Korea had bought a few outfits with her and she is a large lady - so I tried on one of hers and it looked great. A few pins to nip and tuck it and I was ready to go......lesson to all......when pregnant and you have an outfit for a special event all ready months beforehand - check that it still looks good a few days beforehand not last minute.

Sorry for the lack of personals just catching up with FB and EB now. I also have a OB appt today so it will be interesting to see what he says.

Oh and it's DS 2nd birthday on Thursday and to be honest I have not given it much thought with everything going on - I think it will be rather low key....luckily he wont know any different at 2.

BRONZE!!!!

Mel sorry you are having such a hard time, do they actually know what you did when you fell, did you pull something? Bruise something? Or just generally make worse the problems you already had with the SPD? I hope it improves soon xxx

Nayjay hope you enjoyed your scan this morning, its hard not to feel nervous before a scan, especially when you've had problems in the past.

tintin I'm glad the funeral was a "good' day, its really nice that your Mum got the send off she deserved. LOL on the dress though, I guess when you have twins in your tummy you expand much quicker too!!! Hope your OB appointment goes well too.

AFM feeling generally crappy at the moment, have a cold and sore throat, and a lingering headache which feels like a migraine and I just can't get rid of it, even Panadine Forte did nothing last night sad.gif
Going back to the GP today for my blood results to see if there is a reason I feel lightheaded all the time, could just be this cold though I guess.
Going to my OB on Wednesday, can't wait to see bub again. I also think I may have vaginal varicose viens so need ask about that too - how embarassing LOL.

Hi All,

Apologies for not keeping up, FB is proving easier to keep track of.

TinTin I'm so glad your mothers funeral went well.

Mcarro Good you have some closure on what happened and congratulations on your BFP!

AFM Very breathless last night and today, called the Midwife and she said it could be due to the baby having a growth spurt and putting pressure on my diaphragm. She offered an earlier appt, but I'm booked for Thursday so will wait until then. Hard to chair a meeting though when you don't feel like you're getting enough air! ohmy.gif Hope everyone is well.

Jess

Hi,

mccarro - Sorry to hear about bub, but congrats on the new BFP. Hope everything is going great for you and that you will have a sticky one.

little.orchid - Sorry to hear about your m/c, I know what you mean coming back to say that, I didn't come back on EB after my m/c in Jan until after being 10 weeks with this little one.

Mummylinz - Hope you are feeling better and that you can get rid of the cold. I had one a few weeks ago and drunk 1/2 cup of luke warm water with 4 tbsp of lemon juice in it and I was back to my normal self within a week. I think it must be the lemon juice because it has more Vit C in than oranges.

tintin - Sorry to hear about your mum, I just got back from a long absense, but I'm glad everything went well with the funeral. As for the dress, that must have been very funny.

AFM - I'm not doing too bad. I recently started "leaking" and had to buy some nursing pads to sleep with because thats the only time that it happens, but DH thought it is hillarious. We are doing our first ante-natal class tonigh (pregnancy and beyond) so hopefully I will get a bt wiser on the whole being pregnant thing. Bub is kicking a storm up and he loves it when DH gets home and gets comfy with his hand on the bump.

I'm still struggling to get onto the FB group, but I will keep trying to PM Mummylinz to see if I can get on.

I still can't send PM's on here.

If anyone else can, you please send Ebreyten either mine or you own personal details for FB.

I can make anyone an admin on the FB group, so if you are able to become friends with Ebreten on FB let me know and I can make you admin so you can add her to the group.
