CAB14 I know exactly what you mean about being impatient for a scan but wanting to wait to be able to see something... its hard isnt it! i really want to go too but want to be able to wait to see a heartbeat.

Undies + Gumboots my kids are 2,4,6,8. This will be the biggest gap, between my 2 year old and the baby. My first 2 there is 17 months between. I have always loved the idea of a large family. biggrin.gif It can be crazy at times but wouldnt have it any other way!

At how many weeks should the heart beat be visible by ultrasound? Everywhere I read seems to say slightly different!

Hi ladies.

Hope you all don't mind if I join this group. I got my BFP on Friday night although very light. Thankfully this morning it's alot brighter. We are due 15th April 2013 but as I have a c-section I think we'll go around the 1st. This will be my 6th baby (8th pregnancy) and my partners 2nd. We are both amazed that after 9 months we finally did it. We'll be having an early scan at around 5-6 weeks to make sure bubs is in the right place. I had a tubal reversal 10 months ago so I'm at a higher risk of having an ectopic. Fingers and toes crossed bubs is in the right place.

Looking forward to getting to know you all.

Hi everyone waves.gif

Just wanted to pop in quickly to introduce myself and say hi!

After 2 BFN’s last week, I got 2 BFP’s today - still in shock, but very, very happy!! AF was due on Friday, so I’m guessing I O’d later than I thought.

Hopefully I’m not seeing things!?!

So, I think my EDD will be around the 13th of April. Yay! ddance.gif

I will come in and post properly when I have had a chance to read through the thread. Can’t wait to meet you all and share our PG journeys together ddance.gif

Hi & welcome learningasigo, jojo1976 & Mrs Ginger Ninja. Congratulations on your BFP yay ddance.gif ddance.gif ddance.gif

Beauty*spot thank you for the list.

Rachiee - GL in getting your MS under control. I've been pretty lucky so far - fx it stays that way!!!

AFM - ***vent*** I had a blood test last Wednesday and was told by my doctor that he would ring me if there any concerns. Well, today my curiosity got the better of me & I rang to surgery to check. I spoke to the nurse for the results. She proceeded to tell me I wasn't pregnant. ffear.gif oomg.gif WTF... I asked for an immediate appointment (stressing like there is no tomorrow).luckily I got in straight away. Anyways, doctor tells me that everything is ok & I'm still pregnant (woo hoo). He is disappointed in what his nurse told me & will have words with her. From this, I have learnt 2 things 1) the doctor will ring me if there are any problems 2) if my curiosity gets the better of me again, just make an appointment to see the doctor!!!

Have. Great night ladies...

Hi ladies.

Has my first doctors appointment today. She didn't bother testing as I'd showed her the 6 tests I've done over the last 3 days. Gave me the forms for a blood test (I never thought I would see antenatal screening again on my blood tests) and a request for an ultrasound at 6 weeks to make sure bub is in the right place. I go back Friday to get the blood test results and to have another round of blood tests. All very exciting and scary.
