Thanks Last~one
My ob told me they are 98% correct these days - he said the same thing with my DS but somehow was easier to believe as I saw the little boy bits original.gif
He did say he did have a case last year of one of his patients being told a girl and had a boy....
Congrats to you too and good luck with the 4D scan original.gif

I hope your right original.gif
I've just sent an email to a few scanning places so I may do the same too!
Or my ob said she can send me for a 36 week scan so I guess that is another option...

BOY!!!!!!!!!! biggrin.gif bbluestork.gif
I am sick of everybody saying that DF must be so happy to have a boy. I AM HAPPY TOO.. And we wouldnt of minded if it was a girl either.

Does anybody else have this trouble with people implying that the dad wants a boy and the mum wants a girl?

Not the case at all, we just want a happy healthy baby!

Kimmyd, I know how you feel! I have had a number of people say things like 'Oh I hope it's a girl for your sake!' or 'Bet you're wishing for a girl'
Erm, no, to be honest I'm kinda hoping for a boy...we are planning on a big family and I like the idea of an oldest brother. But if it's a girl, we are going to have SO much fun with frilly clothing lol
Of course hubby wants a son...but he also wants a daughter! Either way, we'll BOTH be overjoyed.
It's as if one parent won't love the child because of the gender, how ridiculous!

That being said, a distant family member recently had a daughter after their first being a son and she quite happily told us she loves her daughter more than her son! I was shocked!

This topic is part of the reason we are leaving off finding out the gender until birth...hard for anyone to comment about our baby's gender when it's right in front of them hehe

So I had to had an another scan today and got another confirmation its a girl... I am glad all is ok!

But I know what you mean about the gender thing.... I've had oh you are getting one of each, you can stop now....

And I bet if I was having a boy people would be like so I guess you'll be trying for a girl next?

Isn't it about having a happy healthy baby - they are our children after all original.gif And don't we have babies because we want them as opposed to having a particular gender?

Yeah still don't understand all that but I just ignore it now!

PS didn't have the scan to confirm gender - just had a little scare but all is ok original.gif

After MONTHS of being positive I wanted to find out the gender my partner talked me out of it! So we went for our scan today & didn't find out.. a surprise is on the way! I just figured we were both so unsure as to whether or not to find out so best to keep it a surprise. Bring on June!
