I currently have an ING that I use to move money into on payday for bills.

This has been working well and I'd like to set up another 1 or 2 acounts to save for a holiday and school fess down the track.

Does anyone know if I can I set up multiple online accounts with them all under my/our name or is that not possible?

Thanks.

Yes you can have more than one account (or sub account) under your name. We have about 6.

Hubby works there so if you want to know anything else just sing out.

Thanks Renae - do you know how I go about doing so?

I'd like to set up another 2 sub accounts I guess they are called. Do I go into the 'apply online' and go through all that same stuff again for each account or is there a simpler way of doing so?

Thanks.

1 for family holiday
1 for ds 1 (well it's called his name and under our name)
1 for ds 2
1 for dd
1 for motorbike funding...
then luckly last for saving...

DH said that you open the new accounts using the same client number and access code.

You can do this either by ringing them or doing it yourself online.

Thanks for that Renae!

Countrymum3 if you happen to see this did you have to send in details of the bank account you are using to transfer from/to even if its the same one currently used? Did you have to do this for each of the 7 accounts that you have?

I thought there may be a simpler way if using the same info but maybe not?

Appreciate if you could let me know.

Thanks.

Hi,

I just asked hubby and he said that yes you have to fill in an application form for each new account and send it in. Something to do with money laundering he said (didn't get it really).

Thanks again for that Renae!

Thank hubby too for me and let him know I'm pretty sure I won't be using them for money laundering ROFL!!!

I wasn't actually planning on opening different accounts for savings/school things/holidays etc. My original plan was to put extra into our mortgage for these things but the good old re-draw to pay off the credit card for everyday things seems to be bringing the amount we have in redraw down and down - bugger to that!

I figured by having separate accounts at ING that I WILL NOT touch, only add to, will mean I will have that money put aside for when we need it. That's the plan anyway!

Thanks again for your help guys. biggrin.gif
