I'm not sure if it's something I've eaten or not, I usually have a strong stomach. But ive been feeling nauseas and about midday today I was driving & had to stop & find a toilet because I thought i was going to poo my pants. I've had a sore tummy all afternoon & every time I eat I then rush to the loo. Right now my stomach is gurgling & I feel like I want to be sick. Might be a bit of gastro.I'm booked in for a cs tomorrow & I'm a bit worried. Has anyone else had this? Do you think my doctor will be concerned? Will I still be able to have my baby tomorrow?

My premature labour with DD was bad gastro with bad back ache. Went to the hospital and hooked up to monitors showed it was contractions and labour.

I was booked in for a c/s so that went ahead. I dashed off the trolley just before going in, but didn't want to think about what would happen after the spinal went in and I could no longer clench.

I will admit to noticing big brown stain on stuff removed from under me as they wheeled me to recovery, but no one mentioned a thing.

Funnily enough after bubs was out no more gastro.

with my third i had gastro for 2 days before i went into labour, the pains i had were not at the front of my belly but around it, to the sides, where my intestines would have been pushed out to?? I was sure that it wasn't labour yet. I was booked in for cs at the end of the week, ob didn't seem to be concerned nor did he seem too surprised when we met at the hospital again me in early labour. went ahead with the cs no problem. IsolaBella I will also admit to seeing brown stain on operating table and felt embarrased, then later realised there was no smell, so it must have been all the brown antiseptic that they splosh all over your belly before operation. Milmo I hope it won't be an issue for you and bubs will be born as planned, goodluck.

It could just be your body prepping for birth? I've heard it's quite common to get diarrhea in the week prior. I had 2 c sections and with my last, the lady next to me (also waiting to go in for a planned csection) had diarrhea, they had no issue at the hospital. Turns out it was prelabour, as she started getting contractions and her waters broke on the trolley going into theatre.

I also had diahorrea in the days before going into labour with my second. I read somewhere than your bowel clears as a preparation for labour. That's why most labouring woman aren't given routine enemas anymore

Diarrhea was the start of labour for me so it could just be that.
