Anyone else up to date??

For some reason I always saw Julia's storyline going that way but still it made me so sad, I imagine that there would be people in that situation in real life and it would just be heartbreaking.

Yes. I agree it was so sad especially Joel's face since he asked her flat out two episodes ago.

not on free to air, this is at Us pace, but I would think that it can't be too far away here. It is usually paired with Rafter isn't it?

So you want to know what I was talking about?

Look away now if you still haven't realised this will have SPOILERS!!

Julia is going to adopt Zoe's baby (the coffee cart girl) they get all friendly and Julia basically takes care of her and Zoe even moves in with them for a while, they sign all the documents etc and then Julia is with her at the birth of the baby (a boy). Zoe doesn't want to see the baby, or hold him or anything, and then you see Julia, Joel and Sidney coming to the hospital all excited to bring the baby home to find Zoe in the nursery with him, looking at him with that look of love for a newborn and we realise that she has changed her mind and they will not be able to adopt him after all. It was just so sad because you could totally relate to both women in that situation, one desperately wanting a baby and one totally in love with her newborn and not able to contemplate giving him away.

I imagine there will be more next ep as that happened right at the end of this ep.
