Yes, I'm seeing her this morning. I'll update when I know anything, which I don't suppose will be until bloods come back in the next couple of days.
Hcg results can be done almost straight away. I would be asking for urgent action. How bizzare for you.
FWIW, I've never heard of a false positive except with people taking drugs for IVF/fertility treatment.
Watching for updates.

Ignorance is not a point of view.

So you at thinking that your 3+ months pregnant? I'd go have a scan today... a little bubba should be very clear if you are that far along!
That's what I was thinking too.
Will be lurking for results, OP.

I would love to try and have one today, it's just a matter of finding somewhere that might be able to fit me in - I also know nothing about this, could it just be at a general ultrasound place or are they usually done somewhere more specialised, like Sydney Ultrasound for Women?

Almost any ultrasound place can do prenatal ones, you might need someone specifically trained though. If you are in Sydney I'm sure you'll be able to find a place. Also, it doesn't matter where your referral is for, you can take any referral to an scan place and they can use it. How exciting!

If you ring a few places you should get an appointment if you live in a capital city. I'm sure if you explain things to them they'll do their best to fit you in.
Good luck and I am guessing a big congratulations will be in order.
You'll be fine, you are never truly ready. With my DD we plannned everything and now I wish we hadn't. We may not end up having a third child because we waited so long to have our first. I wish we had just bitten the bullet and done it!
Please post back so we know what happens!
