could it be a positive OPK?, right after a D&C

I am just wondering if the positive OPK is actually from pregnancy hormones still in my body. I had a D&C on 29th November so i put that bleed down as af.. and that would mean that right now i am at day 13 on my cycle. i tested with an OPK and its showing positive (normal cycles prior i was ovulating on day 24 0 so very early) but my question is, do you think that this positive is because there could be pregnancy hormones still in my body.. not actually ttc until after new year as want to relax and enjoy xmas now after a sad time. I am in a similar situation and am thinking that the positive OPKs are due to the last little bits of HCG in my system. I have been getting positive OPKs and last night a very very faint line on a HPT. But, as I have been spotting on and off for the past 2wks or so I am guessing that this is the case?!

Don't belong in this section but saw recent topics, but OPKs were only positive in pregnancy for me after the pregnancy had been confirmed and my HCG was in the hundreds/thousands already. So I'd say unless your HCG levels are still quite high from your loss, that you are probably having a true positive. Good luck, and I'm sorry for your loss.
