OMG - you HAVE to get tickets for you both, in the mosh pit dev (6).gif

Seriously - buy 2 tickets, for her and a friend. It's much more fun to scream and cry with a friend who feels the same. You still take her there, buy her the T-shirt and a coke and then wait in the foyer for it all to be over.

If you're lucky it will be one somewhere like the entertainment centre and you can sit in the bar or a coffee shop with a good book while the concert is on.

You fulfill your promise but without the pain and you still get to claim the 'coolest auntie in the world' title.

I think I'm looking forward to hearing how you go with that concert! LOL,

oh please... get someone to take a pic of the 'no really it was good' face on the night!

I'm sure you will enjoy 'seeing you neice enjoy it' even if the Justin isn't quite your style of music/entertainer.

I do imagine there would be a number of adults chaperoning young teenagers so you shouldn't be the only adult there!

boo
I took my girls to see Miley Cyrus on Long Island, and it was so funny being at a concert of almost exclusively pre-teen girls and their parents. It was fine though, I didn't noticed the screaming all that much, actually the enthusiasm was quite infectious.

Hehee...I don't think Miley would elicit the same raging hormone factor in pre-pubescent girl..LOL. But that would have been fun biggrin.gif

I will enjoy it, I will, will...

roll2.gif I feel sorry for you OP. It would be the worst concert in the world.

I don't think you should back out though. You'll be the coolest aunt ever to your neice.

Sorry but I'm with your SIL. Good on you though, you sound like an amazing Aunty. That's very very precious and if it were me (I'll never have neices/nephews) I'd be doing all I could to develop that relationship, even if it meant a few hours of pain. The benefits will be awesome for a long long time.
