hi, Ds has been invited to a school friends party, he is turning 8. I'm just wondering what 8 y.o boys are into, what sort of present would be suitable, I was thinking a small lego set and perhaps a book.

Our usual present is a gyro torch - hours of adventure and entertainment and no batteries ever required!
yOU CAN GET A STURDY ONE FROM wOOLIES IN THE TORCH/BATTERY SECTION FOR JUST UNDER $20. Sorry for caps - couldn't be bothered re-typing... |

My 8yo is right into Trash Packs. All the kids at his school are.
Also, we couldn't go wrong with any Sydney Swans merchandise.. So if the boy has a favourite sporting team, that would work. |

Second the torch suggestion - gave my nephew one for Christmas, even in the obscene over abundance of that day he was stoked!

You can get a cool lego torch which my kids love. Otherwise they are into Star Wars Lego and lego. Also lego have some great other type accessories now, clocks, watches, stationery.
