Silver!

So I went to my First OBGYN appointment today and it was wonderful!

I'm a bit of a control freak and he seems to be extremely proactive so it's a good match. We talked about the progesterone levels I was concerned about and he put my mind at rest. He went through all my tests results (including the one's I had done after the 3rd MC) with a fine tooth comb, asked a million questions, went over all my meds and what studies do or don't support them in my circumstance, What recommendations he would make, what the path going forward was (twice weekly bloods and weekly scans by him) and the best bit....my first scan smile1.gif

he didn't have to look to hard for it so it came up within an instant. Gestational sac was spot on for dates (5 weeks today) measuring 0.72cms with a well defined outer wall. He said next weeks scan will most likely show the heart beating (Fingers crossed!). I'm pretty excited I get to have a weekly scan done until 10 weeks and after Medicare those visits will only cost me $6.45 so it's not like i'm spending a fortune to do it anyway.

Being so early we could only see the Sac today, but it was still exciting to realise there is actually something growing inside of me.

The photo is glossy so it's hard to get a photo without a reflection in it, sorry for the dodgy shots.

SC - glad it was a happy birthday (even happier than expecting getting to see that everything is as expected so far.

GP appt went well today. As expected my gp was very happy & she even called my high risk ob to make sure he could take me on so that appointment is organised. I'm tending to feel ok for the most part through the day then seedy at this time of night then overnight.

Hope everyone else is having a good day.

my GP visit yesterday was quick. She just wrote me out a referral for my OB. When I came out DS and DD wanted to know if I am all better....they don't know yet as I don't plan to tell them until after the 12 week scan. Anyone else waiting til then to tell their other children?

Bring on the weekend!
