Hi Ladies,
I truly apologise if I upset anyone by posting this here. I went to my doctor on Monday due to slight spotting. He took blood to test my HCG levels and also booked me in for an ultrasound for Tuesday. Tuesday I went to the drs to get my results and have my ultrasound and my HCG levels were measuring at 5-6 weeks not 9-10 weeks as they should've been. I had my ultrasound and that was also showing 5-6 weeks. My dr took 2 more blood samples yesterday and I called for the results this morning. My HCG levels are still increasing and I have to have blood taken every couple of days for the next week to make sure my levels continue to increase. I dont think it is a missed miscarriage as my HCG is still increasing. Has anyone heard of someone having a similar thing happen and it still progress as a healthy pregnancy? My doctor has told me not to panic but of course I am Gloamy |

Im sorry you are going through this. Is there any way that you could only be 5-6 weeks?

Hi clm1982,
My LMP was 20/04/2012 and I had a positive pregnancy test on 25/05/2012 so I should really be about 10 weeks. I could've re-conceived (if thats even possible) around the 11/06/2012 as that was the only time my partner was home (he works in the mines). Which I suppose would work out to what my readings are. I am just really confused as I don't know of anyone who has miscarried without any symptoms at all. I suppose I am just trying to find some hope that this isn't a missed miscarriage. |
