the first few years she would climb the tree but not now,i put baubles at the bottom that she is allowed to play with and she has a great time with them, the real problem i have is she loves to eat the curling ribbon that i put on the presents,so everyone ends up with chewed and soggy ribbon LOL(not so funny when she spews it up wink.gif )

She does love to sleep under the tree, its the favourite place to be when the tree is up.

I remember the strange feeling of loss that first year when we put the tree up and my old boy just wandered in gave it a sniff and wandered off again.

Realised I had actually rather enjoyed the climbing, bauble golf, and assorted cutely destructive mayhem of the previous years!

He'd obviously reached the age of 'Bah Humbug' in cat years!

We've just hit this stage too this year! He used to crash tackle the tree, especially when I wasn't home and I'd have to put up the whole thing again. This year - nothing! sad.gif but original.gif
The toddler is WAY worse! There still are no baubles on the bottom half of the tree as she's pulled them all off!

Our tree was pushed/fell over the other day. It must have scared them as they haven't been near it since biggrin.gif

It's definitely a fun time of year for them. Mine is at it again as I type. This time he stood up to attack the tree, got caught in the lights, fell to the ground, dragging the cords with him and proceeded to attack the offending cord.

I've put his mouse under the tree now and he's happily back peddling on it.
