I'm offended that you would ruin food and wine with knitting!

How are you supposed to drink and eat with knitting needles in your hands?

I'm not a bad mum, I'm a good mum with low expectations
What about something like

'Stitches and Sauvignon'

or

'Stitchy Witches Wine and Dine'

or

'Wine, Dine and Knitting Time'

Or women who prefer not be negatively stereotyped. I think that will be beyond your understanding though.

I think you're taking it too literally - I think witty humour is beyond your understanding rolleyes.gif

definitely a very widespread term so I don't know who all these delicate petals are who would be dismayed to see it on a poster.

Maybe you are better off leaving it to the imagination if you are advertising to a wide audience. Something like "Wine and Whine, Stitch and ..." or just leave off the last part entirely.

Stitch in Time with Wine.

I like both of them, thanks original.gif

Were women we can knit, eat, drink and hold a conversation at the same time biggrin.gif

Seriously though I dont know how to knit so im going along to have lunch and wine and if I can learn how to knit and do a bit of knitting great but if not thats ok.

I just find it less intimidating to meet knew people and socialise if you are doing something and raising money for a charity is an extra bonus.

It's easy. biggrin.gif
I wouldn't use it on a poster for public display ,because I'm sure someone would be offended ,but there would be thousands of stitch and b**ch groups around. It's a common term.
