Haven't spoken to her since November. Now me being nice told dh to invite her on holiday with us.
So give me some tips ladies!

Lots of activities where she can spend time with the kids, and there is a lot of other stuff happening so you aren't forced into too much conversation, other than commentary on what is happening at the time.

Hopefully it will wear her out so she wants to go to bed early and you won't have too much one-on-one time.

Failing that, spike her drink each night.

I don't have any advice but I know how you feel. My MIL came to stay with us while we were waiting me to have my baby last year and it got to the point were I was desperate for the baby to arrive just so that she would just go home. I don't get along with her at the best of times and had to put up with her for two weeks while I was very pregnant and hormonal.

Where are you going? Are you able to 'disappear' and just let her hang out with the kids and DH?

I know a huge moment of weakness!!! Going to Brisbane and staying at my sisters house. Nice few hours at the park reading my book maybe???
