i bought cheaps bikini brief. during the day i wore track pants and t shirts after day 1, where i had a hospital gown all day. what i found helpful was to have slip on shoes and slippers so i didnt have to bend too much. i took several pairs of pj pants and needed them as i leaked a few times over night during the hospital stay.

Like a PP I just wore my usual Bonds bikini undies that I'd worn before and throughout pregnancy. They weren't on the scar. I heard on here to wear black undies, so if there's any leakage with lochia, you won't notice the stain.

I bought a whole bunch of black larger panties on advice and chucked them out. They were uncomfortable post-op. Definitely go hipsters or maternity knickers.

Nanna undies and I bought them a size bigger so they'd be extra baggy on purpose, easier to get up and down etc. Funnily enough, my OB recommended the exact same thing at the last appointment.

Maybe I'm weird but I just kept on with the bonds bikini briefs that I normally wear. Wore them through the pregnancy and during the caesar recovery period also without any problem.

Me too, I also didn't get the whole bring old pairs in case..I took older ones that I had kept aside for that purpose but didn't need then & just chucked them in the bin. They made me keep the catheter in for 24hrs (will be demanding it is taken out asap next time) so I may have missed the messiest time.
I took my maternity shorts & other looser fit shorts and wore them in the hospital.
I also didn't need a pad across the wound because I kept to the looser pants, or would hitch my jeans up over the wound
