I have posted here before to get ideas for names.

Our son is due in 4 weeks and we thought we had chosen a name but now I am getting cold feet sad.gif

This is our current list, including ex-chosen name.

Zander
Reuben
Frankie
Rufus
Maxen
Ezekiel/Zeke
Angus
Theodore

We want a name that isn't top 100 but is easy to spell/pronounce, preferably with a nice meaning.

There will be 2 middle names (family names) and a 3 syllable surname starting with M.

Can anyone suggest some other names that fit the bill? Nothing really grabs me, I like the above but don't love them.

I think alot of ppl will find the names you have listed hard to pronounce or spell correct. Really silly the names ppl are asked to spell nowadays!

What about Rafferty?

I like Angus. I think a short name would flow better if you are planning two NMS and a long surname.

In saying that, I would prefer Alexander NN Xander / Zander and Frances or even Frank with the NN Frankie (especially for a boy) than the derivatives as stand alone names.

Not if they are literate.

I don't really like Zander, Frankie or Maxen but your other names are all good, solid choices.

Other suggestions

Ronan
Linus

Ezekiel/Zeke
Angus
Theodore

Really like these three. (Although I think Angus might be in the top 100 now.) If you Like Theodore (nn Theo) have you considered Leopold (nn Leo)?
