Hi, I have a 3 days old and have been have these pains on my low tummy
 . With DD I never had them. Please help me  . Thanks Katelyn

Your mid-wife or doctor should have told you about this, they are refered to as"after birth pains" and feel like period pain or maybe a bit more intense. Totally normal. I didnt have them with my first either but with my second wow! They were pretty bad but i took lots of panadol and i think they lasted less than a week from memory.

My after pains with DS 2 were almost as bad as my final stage contractions!! My Ob's midwife suggested panadol and voltaren three times a day for a week, she said that they used to give women a shot of morphine!
