Little miracle, that's amazing news after 3 yrs ttc you must still be in shock, especially after deciding to stop and focus on job, wishing you the best with your scan. I can agree with you about the stress, it's intense when u know just how precious and rare a pregnancy is.
Raffi, the only symptoms I had with all my BFPs were a total lack of symptoms, no sore (.)(.), no bad moods, no cramps, no hunger - nothing at all! And that was the same with BFP with my daughter too, so here's hoping! My fingers are tightly crossed for you! It has to be our year, in sure of it!!
DarkP, thanks for sharing I'm glad I'm not the only one losing my mind over this! I can't even sleep with fear of losing this much wanted & much waited for pregnancy, in all honesty I'm not sure we could afford to try again, pray for me please! original.gif
AFM. Had second blood test this morning & going out of my mind with worry & I know that's not good for pregnancy & that just makes me stress more! Will keep u posted! X

No4please, so sorry for your news. All the best for next cycle. I know how draining it can be, it's tough. I did clomid/fsh inject with IUIs for 5 mths & found it just as stressful as IVF. Thanks for your well wishes, thinking of u.

DarkP, thanks for making me feel normal! I've been a mess!

AFM Just got the call Beta is up to 420 from 88 three days ago, which they said is great as they expect the number to triple, so so far in the clear! Thank God, I've been making myself sick all day, now for the 6 wk scan, where it all went pear shaped last time!
Not that I'm complaining of course , just so grateful to be at this point after all this time!
Take care all x

Thanks Shelby. I can't even believe I'm on that list, hoping I'll stay there!
DarkP. Thanks, I was a little bit worried about my first no so helps to know yours started low and was fine!
My scan is on Valentines Day! Of all the days to be looking for a little heartbeat, surely this is a good day?? I didn't choose it, it was their available during my 6 wk & only noticed when I put it on the calendar.D

Hello,

Well some good and not so good news from me. The good news is scan went well. Baby is in the right place and heart beat was found. Not so good news is my spotting has turned to bleeding, kind of like a light period and my dates are a little behind what I predicted, although I have a shorter luteal phase as I ovulate later in my cycle so its hard to tell. Plus being so early on in pg its hard for them to "predict". So it says 6 w 2 days but I am thinking closer to 7 weeks but anywhere from 6 w 4-5 days would be ok so not too bad. I will head back to drs later this week if this bleeding persists and go from there. I just want it to stop!!!! So frustrating and worrying but work is keeping me busy and off my mind.

As for symptoms - well figured I was pg fairly early this time (last time I was over 7 weeks) as my boobs were sooooo sore and I only get that around O time not AF time. That was my only symptom early on but slowly over the past week my food aversions have arisen. Breakfast is a struggle becasue everything tastes dry and gross so up and go's are a Godsend at the moment. I have been feeling nauseated after dinner each night this week and the tiredness has started to set in lately. Oh and last night we were home quite late and had a snack night of egg and beans on toast - baked beans on toast - delicious - eggs - no way were they going in - just couldn't stand them LOL!!!!! And chicken seems to be on my no go list too - AGAIN!!!! Poor DH last time he didn't have chicken for months.

Anyway, thanks for the well wishes. Taking each day at a time and will see how we go.Every day is another step forward I suppose. Would be nice if things just were easy wouldn't it???

Goodluck to everyone else and to you Hayley for your upcoming scan too. Oh my EDD from scan is 22.9.12 but I am still thinking 19/20th.

xxx

HaleyW - that is a great result!! Hope they keep going up for you!!

littlemiracles - hope the bleeding has settled down for you!

Well ladies I'm a bit upset today...my DD started fulltime school and while I am of course happy and excited for her...it is the end of me having an at home child.

I'm supposed to be at home having babies and looking after them and now I have to think about working, studying etc while also trying to fit in possible IVF appointments while not missing out too much on DD school stuff.

My baby has gone to school and I might not get another one sad.gif

Raffi - I'm so sorry. I know how difficult that must be for you. My heart goes out to you, it really does and it's not easy having your child go to school especially with all the grief of infertility on top - so be kind to yourself. I'm hoping you'll have some helpful advice on how to move towards your next pregnancy when you see your FS, even if that means IVF. I always felt so much better once I started getting help, it felt like a relief. Thinking of you. x

Kezball - thank you. original.gif

Little miracles - I've also heard that bleeding is completely normal in 50% of cases during pregnancy - even quite heavy - so perhaps this is just how this pregnancy will be for you. I have everything crossed that your little one is growing well and will be able to say hello in 8 months time. Good luck.

Dark Passenger - as always, thanks for sharing. I'm feeling a little less stressed now but I just wish some pregnancy symptoms would present themselves to make me feel better - but it's so early I guess so I should try to relax!

Thanks so much ladies for your supportive words - just what I needed! You are so right Dark Passenger that is exactly how it is - all the other mums (well nearly all!) are either pregnant or have babies and I just so feel like I am being left behind. I just sooo hope that the FS can help us out and within a year or so that I too will be able to have another.

For some reason kindy wasn't so bad last year as it was only 2 days per week but today with DD going to Pre-Primary (5yr old in WA) it has really hit me! But she had a wonderful day and I loved chatting to her about her day.

I hope everyone continues to have good news and keep healthy!!

Thanks again xxx
