A child at school has had a relapse of his cancer cry1.gif

At some stage last year I was his aide (he didn't realise).

What can I do for him? I want to make a small package. From his blog it looks like he won't leave hospital in 2012. I want to make a small package that will give him something to do. As always I'd be looking at something like handballs (he loves these) and he does get a little bit of time outside, theraputty, cars etc.

He was never the sort of kid that would sit and do stuff IYKWIM. He was a pocket rocket that was on the go all the time....

Any ideas of something for him please?

Oh and I do know treatment first time round was hard on him and the odds are stacked against him this time round sad.gif

Maybe jokes or riddle books, modelling clay or similar, soft foam type balls which can be used inside, little cars, food treats. Poor kid -how sad!

If He loves hats and caps - why not set up a hat and cap mail- athon for him.

I have seen these been done before with really sick kids requesting 'stuff' that they collect or love and if people have spares if they could post them to them!

Do you know the thread about the girl and all her dresses - Her dresses got destroyed in the Qld floods last year and EB members posted her new dresses....That was such a beautiful thread - You could do something similar.
