DP is keen to get DS (26 months) a cement mixer toy as a present from the baby sister (when she arrives in a few weeks). I have seen online the Bruder one and the one on Toys wholesale, we would like to spend $50 or less so the former is out of the budget and he says the toys wholesale one looks "naff". Anyway just asking if anyone has seen one at a shop or online anywhere and could point me in the right direction.

TIA

DS has the fisher price one. Not sure how much it was, but it can't be more than $50.

DS1 got one from Kids Central/Early Learning Centre for his 1st birthday. He's almost 3, so not sure whether they still stock them, but it's a great one and still looks new!

Thanks

Riotproof - the fisher price one does not pass the DP test, he is thinking something big and "serious" like the tonka dump trucks and stuff. Although I suspect he will need to rethink his budget!!! There are some great old (1970s) tonka ones on US ebay, but I think they will take too long to arrive

Jules - are you able to vaguely tell me how big the ELC one is, the website doesn't have dimensions. Otherwise I'll call them, thx

This one is cute and suitable for a one year old. It's a good size.

This is a Bob the Builder one, but it's not Dizzy.

This one is like a Tonka one and made of metal.

These are wooden ones made by Plan.

There is a mixer in the wow toys. It has a couple of people that come with it. We don't own it but borrowed it from toy library. My boys loved it.

Thanks everyone, I bought the WOW one in the end. It arrived today and DP looks suitably impressed. I think he would like to open it and try it out, but I've told him to cease and desist!!
