I've finally completed Pepper's Birth Story, took a bit longer than I thought, but mainly because I was enjoying our babymoon for so long so it had to wait.

I have done it in 3 parts so feel free to read what interests you, the first I did as an article for Birth Matter's (Maternity Coalitions member's magazine) for their next issue, so it's about pre-natal care and preventing PPH's:

Preventing Post Partum Hemorrhage with Pre-Natal Care

The second part is the actual Birth Story:

The Home Birth of Pepper Marie

The 3rd part is just an addition I added when I asked my husband if he had any comments on the Birth Story, so these are his thoughts which he asked for me to write down:

My husband's Experience of Pepper's Birth

Thanks for sharing your beautiful birth story.

I found myself nodding and agreeing with so much you wrote, especially in the first section, and has helped me realise a couple of things I need to focus on for this birth. Things I had forgotten about (I didn't wee during DS2 labour so needed a catheter in so my uterus would contract down).

Congratulations on the birth of your beautiful girl.
