Hi cannot decide on either of them i guess its the price difference that is off putting.

which should i go for? i currently have a 30D which i am looking at selling but i have not been in photography for a number of years.

the camera will be used more for styling food, houses etc. '

a lot of people said to actually go for nikon for shaper images but i have always been a canon girl and never had any problems with the brand.

I work with two Mk II bodies and if I could, I'd sell them and upgrade them to Mk III's.

A colleague of mine has Mk III's and having had a play with them, they are exceptional and beautiful and I am drooling just thinking of them LOL.

I am a Canon girl through and through so I'm a vote for sticking with Canon original.gif

I have a 5D mkI and I love it. I am about to get a mkII as my 2nd body and a 50D as my play/personal camera. If I was you I'd get a MkII and put the rest towards some nice glass...

I wish I was wrong sometimes!!!!
Both Cameras are good. It is said that Canon's Cameras produce a slightly warmer tone compared to Nikon's. It would be good to go to dp review site to check them out and go from there.
