Starblossom i feel for you, its hard when we want another bub so bad. One lady in my parenting group was tandem feeding her toddler and a newborn and got pregnant with her third. I couldnt believe it!
Sorry to hear your luteal phase is so short. 10 days is the minimum length to be able to sustain a pregnancy so taking some B6 would be a good start to help increase it. It increased mine from 7 days to 9 days the first month i took it.
I've stopped the Vitex now because i feel i had been on it for a bit too long consecutively, 6 months non stop as i take it right the way through the month. I feel my cycle is at a good length now so i want to see if my body can sustain in by itself. I've had an 11 day luteal phase the last 2 months and i only had a 10 day luteal phase when i conceived my DD so i figure its pretty good where its at.

nattles88 Hi, you probably wont need to fully wean to be able to conceive but your cycle may be more regular once your child decreases feeding. My DD is 24 months old now and she still feeds on and off all day and night but i got my period back when she was 15months, which is the average time to get your cycle when demand feeding, and it took a few months to get to a 'normal' length. Happy_daisy oh the 2ww is a killer isnt it!? Try to hold out testing too early, but i never can. I always start testing around 7dpo... lol

stickymicky how is your DD? Is she back to feeding normally again? Hope all is well.

AFM - my OPK's are a little darker then normal but definitely not positive yet. Tomorrow is cd22 which is when i've ovulated the last 2 months so hopefully it will be the same this month.... it sure makes for a long cycle when you dont ovulate til so late!

Sorry to hear that Star I have so many friends who are pregnant at the moment, some on their second, and it just sucks. for you.

AFM I keep thinking that I'm feeling pregnancy symptoms...I hate the TWW!! I'm overanalysing ever little twinge and niggle. I'd had a niggly little pain near my RHS ovary on and off for the past couple of days, which I had when I was pregnant with DD, so I keep thinking that must be a sign. However it's not strong or constant enough for me to be sure. The only thing stopping me from POAS right now is that I know I dont get early BFPs, so there's no point until I'm at least 13DPO

Star Blossom- I totally feel your pain. One of the women in my Mothers Grp just had her 2nd baby (her 1st is 14mo) and I feel really jealous. She was demand feeding AND on the mini pill and not thrilled about being pregnant again so soon. I was sympathising but really just wishing it were me!
How pathetic am I, I even feel jealous when I hear Tori Spelling was expecting another baby so soon (shes 12 wks and her DD just 5months old- tho guessing she not breastfeeding?!)
I've become kinda obsessed with age gaps.. we always said we wanted a closeish age gap (about 2 yrs) and it just feels like that is slipping futher and further away (melodramatic much? but thats where I'm at) I'm always querying people what the age gaps between their kids are and doing mental maths to fig out how old their first was when they conceived their second.. also feeling a bit deflated whenever I hear of someone I know getting pregnant- which seems like an everyday occurance at the moment. boo.
I have just started taking vit b6 (in addition to vitex and folate). Lets hope it works some sort of magic for us both!
Really sorry to read you got AF.. but a fresh cycle, a fresh chance.. everything crossed!

Racheal- I hope you are ovulating right now! Do you find the OPKs turn positive quite suddenly or do they start getting darker early on? I just recieved my pack of internet cheapies and so far they are just total negatives (not even a faint 2nd line) so I find them quite demoralising .
Thanks for asking, my DD is mostly better now, but I feel she is losing interest in the boob. I think this is beacuse she just has 1 feed/day so it's probably just a pretty slow trickle and probably not really worth her while. Since she has been unwell I've been offering her as much as she wants but the feeds are getting so short now and I get the feeling she's moving on. This is probably a good thing from a TTC point of view, but rather upsetting in every other regard. I've been pumping to try increase my supply but feel we are at a cross roads and perhaps now is a good time wean... I'm working full time and studying so pumping isn't a long term solution. Will see what happens over the next few weeks. Best of luck to you for catching that egg! Fingers and toes are crossed for you

Happy Daisy- how many DPO are you? I hope the 2WW goes super fast for you and ends with a BFP. I feel positive for you!! Good luck resisiting the early test.

Nattles- hello and a warm welcome. Hmm.. that does sound very odd about your cycle.. surely if you have ovulated (and sounds like you have) but not pregnant than AF should follow any day now? Once you've had AF back maybe you could start temping to give you a clearer picture of what is happening.. it seems to me that when you are BFing practically anything can happen with your cycle.. but yes you can definitely get preggo when BF, if you read back through this thread you'll see it happens all the time! Good luck!

AFM- well I'm on CD19 and have been charting temps etc for the first time ever. No sign of ovulation at all (my temps are really low <36 and I'm dry as a bone- apols for tmi) and have a feeling this is going to be a loonnng anovulatory cycle. sigh.

Happy_daisy - Thanks for updating the list! Good luck with your TWW - I hope you have some good news at the end You're stronger than I am. I POAS constantly even though I know it's too early.... How long do you have to wait?

Stickymickey - great AF is back for you. Try not to worry too much at this stage if you can! Easier said than done, I know

Last month for me was very dry too (sorry tmi, kinda weird writing this stuff sometimes lol), possibly slightly different this time???? I will keep you updated....

Starblossom - I thought ovulation resulted in AF.... All working together.... It has confused me lol! I guess it like being on the pill though.... Im not sure.

Sorry to hear AF arrived but fantastic you had a 28 day cycle. At least it will come around quicker for monitoring and hopefully your LP will adjust itself and lengthen soon

Stickymickey & Starblossom -Basically i'm just going by CM observations. I'm not temping at the moment as our kid's are sleeping really badly and all over the place so there would be no real consistency. I haven't yet used Opk's before but am considering getting some if things don't go back to normal soon.

After my last AF, I hadn't had any notable CM, especially EWCM - at all. I was thinking I was having a really long cycle and on CD31 AF arrived completely unexpectedly which is why I was assuming I didn't ovulate. 

RachealJane - I hope you've had a positive opk! What brand do you use?

Nattles88 - Welcome! My cycles each time resumed around 18 months although this time, it was about 14 although (as above) it's not normal. I've never had spotting, AF just returned out of the blue. 

Sorry I can't help much.... Everyone is different so you will probably find others relate. I hope you don't have to wait too long!

AFM - Not much going on here. I'm on CD14 and according to FF, I should be starting to ovulate although no signs really. I'm thinking of trying Vitex although will wait and see how things go this cycle. What do those of you on Vitex suggest? Would you recommend it?
