I don't have one personally but I am considering getting one in the new year after spending time in my friends one. She has the 2011 auto CD one. She feels really safe in it. It is small, but not micro and the boot is quite large. She claims it is economical too. I want one! A few reviews of it have complained about power with some models but this is not something I would be particulary concerned with. I don't think you could go wrong with one.

We have Cruze and we love it. It is DH's car and he does a far bit of driving for work, and it travels really well. Fuel is not too bad, and it is a very comfy car to be in, surprisingly roomy for a 'small' car. He folds down the back seats and has a really large boot that way, but even with them up the boot is a good size. I wouldn't hesitate to get another one if we needed another car for some reason.

HTH
